Centering Prayer is a meditative silent prayer practice within the Contemplative Tradition and is as old as our Judeo-Christian heritage. "Be still and know that I am God" Psalm 46:10. It is a prayer practice taught by Jesus: "when you pray, go into your inner room, close the door and pray to your God in secret..." Matthew 6:6.
Centering Prayer Group meets Thursday at 10:30 am in the Garden Room located in the Chelsea Center.
