12 Baskets Food Pantry

We are looking for volunteers to help serve our neighbors in need.The Food Pantry is open every Wednesday from 3:00–6:00 p.m., with volunteers arriving between 2:15–2:45 p.m. for a brief centering prayer, a review of the day's roles, and an overview of the food available that day.

There are several ways you can serve:
GREETER – Welcome clients as they arrive, record their names, direct them to Client Intake, and help maintain order in the line.
CLIENT INTAKE – Register new and returning clients and record their visit. Basic computer skills are helpful, and training is provided. This is currently our greatest volunteer need.
SHOPPER – Accompany clients through the pantry, helping them select their food items and quantities and placing the items directly into their bags.
LOADER – Help clients bring their food to their vehicles and load their selections. Some light lifting is required, with the ability to lift approximately 10 pounds. There is also a special 2:00–5:00 p.m. loader shift available.
STOCKER – Help receive and stock food deliveries from All Faiths Food Bank and donations from our parishioners on Wednesday mornings.
Whether you can volunteer every week, occasionally, or simply want to learn more, your help can make a meaningful difference in the lives of people in our community.
