Welcome to St. Thomas More

We pray:

A Contagion of Hope

Christ Our Light!

Your light rises in our darkness and assures us
that you are present with us
and that your powerful closeness to us
transforms our fear into hope.

May we join with our Holy Father, Francis,
in spreading a "contagion" of hope "from heart to heart".

Protect all your selfless servants who continue to serve
the needs of the most vulnerable by both hands and heart.

Give our elected leaders wisdom of heart in decision-making
that the common good of our human family may be achieved
and the gift of each person's human dignity respected.

May the new Easter fire of love, energy and resilience burn within our hearts
so that we may give witness to the mystery of your resurrected life among us and within us.
Amen

Church Open for Mass

Fr. Gordon is happy to announce that we will begin resuming public Masses on Monday, May 18. Please read the Mass Attendance Guildelines HERE before coming to Mass. These guidelines will need to be strictly adhered to in order to protect the health and safety of everyone in attendance.

Keep in mind that Bishop Frank Dewane has extended the dispensation from Sunday Mass obligation until June 28th. All those, as defined by the health department, as more vulnerable (i.e. 65 + years of age, those with compromised immune systems, those with underlying health conditions) as well as those who are sick or experiencing any symptoms are encouraged to stay at home.

Until further notice, all other parish activities remain suspended. This includes Knights of Columbus, Youth Group, Rosary Groups, and any other organized parish activity other than the Sacred Liturgy.

Text / Email Scam Alert

Parishes throughout the diocese have been made aware that someone is creating fake text/email accounts using the names of priests of the Diocese and /or parish staff. Theyare using these fake accounts to contact parishioners requesting donations in the form of gift cards, Pay Pal and/or wire transfers. The messages often greet the person by name and have the priests name in the closing signature of the message. The best defense against this sort of scam is to not respond or open any worrying attachments. It is Diocesan policy that no priest or staff within the Diocese request donations in the form of gift cards, PayPal, MoneyGram, etc..
