STM YOUTH MINISTRY

All Parish High School Teens and their Friends are Welcome!  We offer our young people an opportunity to share faith, use their talents and gifts and to build community through a comprehensive ministry that includes activities such as game nights, movie nights, beach parties, faith conversations, serving the poor through single event service projects to week long mission trips, Rock the Universe and celebrating Mass and special church devotions like Living Stations of the Cross and adoration.  We usually meet on scheduled Sunday afternoon and other times depending on the event. CONFIRMATION PREPARATION

Young people are confirmed beginning in 10th grade in our Diocese.  A minimum of two years in a faith formation program is required.  Our Youth Ministry is part of that preparation.  Teens who participate in Youth Ministry in 9th and 10th grade are eligible to be confirmed in Spring of 10th grade.. Those who will be confirmed in the coming Spring are asked to participate in additional Confirmation Preparation sessions, service and a retreat.
